Across School Teacher/Leader - 2 year fixed term appointment (.4 FTTE / 2 days a week) $16,000 salary allowance (T2 start date negotiated)
Learning Support Coordinator - Permanent (T2 start date negotiated)
1. Across School Leader Vacancy (.4 FTTE - 2 days a week)
The Taupō Community of Learning | Kāhui Ako is seeking an experienced teacher for this Across CoL Leader (fixed term two year role) who can work collaboratively to support our community’s teachers to meet our Achievement Challenges. The intended start date will be in Term 2 with a date that will be finalised with the employing school that the successful applicant is based in.

Building confidence and commitment across all the Kāhui Ako schools and learning communities
Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and support curriculum and assessment needs across learning centres to improve teaching practices

2. Learning Support Coordinator (Permanent)
The Taupō Community of Learning | Kāhui Ako is seeking an experienced teacher for this Learning Support Coordinator (permanent) who can work collaboratively to support our community’s teachers to better meet our learning support challenges.
The role of the Learning Support Coordinator:
As an LSC, you will bring your skills, knowledge, caring, and values to the role, along with your ability to work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for the young people who need some kind of extra support for their learning. You will help identify, understand, and plan for the needs of these learners in our local community. You will coordinate services and support, ensuring that there are robust, carefully monitored, and appropriately resourced plans in place for learners who need extra support.
The successful applicant will demonstrates successful practice and understanding of:
A good working knowledge of culturally responsive and relational pedagogy.
The ability to network with multiple agencies in the community.
The ability to form strong working relationships with teachers and manage people.
Willingness to work collaboratively with other LSC’s in a needs based model
